Which Toshiba Satellite? Some models are apparently BIOS locked into using only GPT for Windows 8. So don't have the option for legacy boot or CMS needed for WIN 7.

You need to find and flash an updated BIOS that has the capability to legacy boot. Maybe from Toshiba?
