Our Skyworth lasted 5 days before packing it in and having to be sent for repair under its short warranty period. After getting it back it lasted for 8 days/hours of use.
I am going to a Toshiba combo unit and using it with an inverter. All the DC powered TV's are junk and expensive junk at that. Problem is that as LED LCD's get cheaper to make the base size is getting larger year by year. We can fit in at most a 22" set and may soon find ourselves using a laptop with a computer monitor instead.
