Marcus Lemonis -- Take Control and Clean Up Your Mess

Marcus,

You and your "Team" are a pathetic example of how customer service should be handled.

I placed an order with your company almost two months ago and after spending 39 minutes on hold just now, I was told by your employee, Shana Hutton, that my order is still pending and no request has been made by your company to the distributor to ship what I have paid for -- freight and product costs. You stole my money and I want it back.

Last week I spoke with one of your esteemed Rapid Response Team people, Mark, who promised me that my refund was in the works, but I just found out that isn't true. Now, Ms. Hutton tells me, she has initiated my refund and I should see it in 7-10 working days. Do you really need my money that much longer? Where the hell is my money?

Marcus, get off your lazy ass and do something about this.

Thank you,

Bruce

  • Im not to busy for this and i don't appreciate you saying that I don't care. Taking care of my camping world customers is more important to me than anything I do. We experienced a massive failure in our systems when we launched new technology. We are resolving it but for the record, it is no ones fault but mine. email me personally and I will make sure it gets resolved immediately.

  • Time to dispute the charges on your card and move on to a more reputable business. Marcus is to busy with his tv show to worry about CW.
  • If it's any consolation to the OP-If it wasn't for yours and similar posts, I would never have known about the CW problems. They are off of my list of places to shop.
  • I thimk posting here, and on other web sites is the right thing to do. Look at the # of times these posts are viewed. If only 10-20% of those viewing take their business elseware, and they in turn tell their friends / fellow campers, and they go elseware, it's got to be affecting his business.
Sooner or later he'll have to "fix it". But by then it will be hard to regain his lost customers.
That's why Amazon and other RV parts distributors are doing so well. They give great service, fair, and in most cases, better pricing, fast shipping (many times free), and an easy return policy.
And, the "computer problem" excuse is getting a bit loooong in the tooth. CW has been falling back on that for weeks now. My 5 year old grand daughter could come up with a better excuse.

To the OP, go for it. Blasting him and the company on a public forum is, after all the hoops you've had to jump through, probably going to get a quick response.

  • It's kinda fun to tell Marcus off since he could buy and sell any one of us several times over.
I agree it's bad service. How about writing a letter to him explaining the situation; better than an email.
