Need a Recorder???
I recently got a Dish account for our RV. Have two Wallys. Was told I need a separate recorder to record shows. What are you all using/recommending. Would like to purchase on Amazon.

- In addition to the external hard drive you will need to pay DISH a one time $40 fee and have them turn on the DVR service. The hard-drive by itself is not enough.
- Second Chance, I think I read someplace in my research that the Wally needs a USB 2.0 capable recorder. Not sure what the difference is between USB 2 and USB 3??? Wondering if any recorders are both USB 2 and USB 3 capable???

Again... it's not a "recorder," it's an external hard drive. I just checked my Wally manual which says the Wally can use either a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 external hard drive. 2.0 and 3.0 are just different interface protocols for USB devices.
