New iPhone 5 apps
Just bought an iPhone 5. I have used Macs for 8 years so am familiar with OS. We travel mainly in the West. I am trying to decide which apps would be most useful for us. There is iExit for what is off...

We have the IPHONE 4.0 here with unlimited data. This is a 16GB memory model. We use it for downstreaming TV programs from ABC CBS CNN etc and it performs very good with no skipping or reloading etc... The TV programs are one day old but that doesn't really bother us...
I am looking now for the proper cable to go from the IPHONE to one of my large screen TVs video inputs to get this up on the big screen.
Works great anywhere we get VERIZON cellphone service which is just about anywhere in the US I guess...
I also use the SCANNER app alot as well. This give us POLICE-RESCUE SQUAD-PUBLIC SERVICE all over the country... A great internet radio scanner that passes along all of the live audio from the new scanner channels on-going now. My regular police type scanner don't work anymore since all of them are moving to the new scanner formats...
