I just received a new Debit card from one of my local banks due to the recent credit breaches. I actually use it as my high risk card anyway, so leave very little funds in the account.
Had received a notice a week ago that the bank was replacing it. Probably due to the account number appearing on one of the Russian underground websites.
BTW, I did mention this on another thread. Home Depot(HD) will send you a serial no. to activate free credit monitoring if you used a credit/debit card at one of their stores from April through September. Turns out, the credit breach at HD was bigger than Target's, involving as many as 750 million transactions.
