Ok, the reason.... The automatic track breaker requires a brief period of silence, Since there IS NO Silence when the record is turning you have two ways of dealing with track breaks.. I recommend one of them.
The one I do not recommend is to physically stop the turntable between tracks for three to five seconds.
The one I do recommend is Audicity or Total Recorder (Professional version is best, by the way it will show you what you need to know and what I'm talking about).
Import the resulting file as a WAV file into your computer. Edit it with either of those programs (Audicity is free by the way) Using them you can slice and dice.
If you wish to preserve the order or the tracks name them like this:
O1-Come all ye fair and tender ladies
02-Mr. Peabody's Coal Train
03-John Henry
and so on.. That way when the burner software (your choice of CD burners) does an alpha sort.. 01 comes before 02 before 10 before 20 before 99.
