Yes, it's a microSD card. You may want to use a Class 10 card. Mine will record at 720P HD using a Class 4 card, but 1080P may be pushing its data rate recording limits.

BTW, I've had no luck with two car DVRs I've bought. Both bought from U.S. suppliers, and both returned for poor quality. Basically, unusable video.
