Satellite App

Back in November we were camping at John Pennekamp SP and a fellow camper showed us this great app to use for line-of-sight for our tailgater. We now (finally) own a device to put apps on so I'm looking into this.

I did a search on previous posts and I found the recommendation for the AR satellite app. When I check Google Play list for apps, there a couple called this. Is there a "best" one to choose?

I also seen a fellow camper using one of those apps. I thought it was great so I download it on my Android tablet. As of yet I have not figured out how to use it. Can anyone explain the steps you need to go through to get it to work. I have Direct TV. I have tried several of the apps and I still cannot see the sats. Maybe someone can help this old man.

I use the dishformyrv app. And I have a Tailgater also.

I use Satellite AR, which was also found at the Google Play store.

It gives lots of different satellites, including the International Space Station. It works great for us.
