I wouldn't bet on that date. A lot of school systems are telling MS that they can't afford to update. I would bet on an extension for several years.

I really loved to run GOOGLE CHROME as it wasn't a hugh memory hog program. Finally it started giving me lockup problems so I changed to FIREFOX. So far so good here.

I have to use IE however when logged into my bank account - Thats the only one it likes...

I downloaded Firefox and it seams to work good, loads Tioga George fairly fast and with on problems.Iam going to spend some time with it in the next few day to learn it. LOL

That is why I tested it running the same OS and browser that the OP is using.

I didn't mention it, but actually the html sniffer log I posted previously was run from IE10. However, I set compatibility mode to IE8 just to check, and it loaded fine for me. But, again, IE10 has an upgraded Javascript engine even when running in IE8 mode.

I tested it with IE8 and Firefox on XP. With IE8 I get the message, can simply hit yes to stop the script. It has several of them so will have to hit yes several times. With Firefox it behaves and opens just fine. Seems more and more sites are having trouble with IE8 and scripts so is becoming a rather common problem. Unfortunately if you are running XP that is the latest version of IE that will run on it. I would simply install Firefox and make it my default. You can also go here Microsoft Support and use the fix it button. Might eliminate the error pop up but page will likely still load very slow.

Thanks for all the info, Iam going to try it with my netbook that has windows 7 and IE-10 to see how it goes. My old XP will be replaced in 2014.

I'm running the latest Firefox and MSIE depending on the web page and often get that pop up too.

I'd love to know how to track it down and kill it with a site blocker,, I have a great site blocker (So do you by the way) but I need to know what to block.
