Probably lots of CDs available with those popular years of music from local Walmart... You may have to wait until your next supply trip to San Diego again... I still got photos here somewhere on one of your supply runs up north...

Way back in the day we used to listen to XERF Del Rio Texas for our music... It had its facilities on the American Side and a 250KW Am transmitter on the Mexican side of the border... Probably been blowed up by now haha...

I listen to WILLYSROADHOUSE on PANDORA RADIO all the time on the internet ALL FREE...

Hey Roy,

I grew up in the 50s in Kansas City and used to listen to "Dr. Jazzbo" on XERF at night. I couldn't receive it during the daytime even on my sensitive short-wave radio.

The 50s were a GREAT time to grow up!

Are you buying the cheapest possible internet service you can, or is it just all bad?

Years ago I ripped all my CDs to a MacBook Air for a music server, then I synched that to an iPod Classic. Two Soundmatter FoxL V2s and a FoxLO brings it all home in high fidelity.

You would think there would be a service that would populate a 160GB iPod classic with 1000's of hours legal music for far less than the cost of a new Honda Accord.

You can't even get XM radio? Is your radio bad? XM radio coverage goes clear down to Nicaragua. TV Satellite reception should be available, too ... depending on your service selections. Are you parked under a mountain?!! Otherwise, Perhaps you should do as 2OLDMAN suggested and just get out of Mexico, then. ;)

160GB on an iPod is almost 20,000 songs, close to 1400 hours of music. That ought to last you for a while. Then you would no longer be dependent upon Internet or Satellite.

4 XM radios with booster antenna agree, this is a dead area.

New telephones are not allowed bandwith overtaxed as is. Borrowing a modem at the store music will stream for 10-seconds then go silent for seconds to minutes. Shortwave music sounds like it's coming from a bullhorn on the next block. Singalong? OK
