Travel Records Software

From time to time there are software writers that design programs for RVers to track expenses such as gasoline/diesel, campgrounds, repairs, motor home/trailer details, etc. Does anyone have information pertaining to such software? Thanks for any assistance.

    X2 Easy for me

X3 and I also track in Quicken with category of Travel/Camping/Fuel ...or Fees... or Campground Fees... or Tolls... or Propane ... or any other category you want to come up with.

And I use my debit card and download the expenses from my bank directly into the register so there is no rekeying of expenses. Easy Peeasy.
  • Try using your own bank's bill pay. Might save you having to enter it twice, on another program.
  • There is nothing special about RV expenses that could not be incorporated into any expense spreadsheet. If you don't want to make one up, there are a number of these available on the internet. RV Care Log Book allows you to do some custom work as well as keep track of MPG and maintenance logs. This is just one example but there are many out there including apps for your phone if you have a phone that supports this kind of application.

  • Quicken for expenses - you can set up the categories you want - download from your bank for credit card charges, etc.

I use excel to track where we camp and for how long and add comments.
