Since this is not a phone, you can not use the # functions.
To set up a MyVerizon account Verizon will send you a password via text message. My 4620 Jetpack does not receive texts messages so this won't work for me.
I plan on adding $5 on Dec 28 to stretch my service out as long as possible just in case calling in by phone no longer works.
Hopefully the phone option will continue to work.
If service comes to an end, one option may be to have my device reprogrammed by the following vendor:

They state in their listing:
Have Custom Software For All The Jetpacks and 2200 that enables you to flash the device the correct way and allow the flashed device to receive Text Messages and populate it's own data.
If the device will receive text messages then you should be able set up a MyVerizon account.
I just reflashed my 6620L remotely with this ebay vendor. Worked great - recommended. It took about 45 minutes, and be aware you'll need to download a program to give them remote control of your computer during the process.
