Using Directv HDDVR versus SDDVR

I have the same receiver... had to get a 60 dollar dish (antenna)... with the "B" converter, 15 dollars.

NO beeps...
I use a homemade LOW profile PVC pipe mount..

DIRECTV SlimLine 5 LNB Ka/Ku Slim Line LNB for Satellite Dish (SL5)

I get all the HD channels. and HD local channels.

Are you using a SWM SL3 with a power inserter or a standard SL3. If the former, did you remember to bring the PI?

If you're using a SWM setup the correct selection would be SWM3, I believe.

Bill.Satellite Used this setup at rv all last summer. Can't remember satellite type used in setup.......

Has sl3 lnb (99/101/103)

Did you replace your old antenna? If not, you still can't get HD with a triple LNB antenna (oval dish or not). You must have the new SL3 LNB and I would suggest that you buy the SWM SL3 so you can use a DVR but require only 1 coax.

no. the 24 doesn't beep.. they added it back on the 34 and 44 (Genie)
