I sent the info to Marcus and yes they are screened. I still do not see the review on the web site because it was a bad review. Since I wrote the first post the fan has stopped working again. The solar panel on the top has cracked and broken from the sun. I installed a new top cover that was sent to me when the first fan went bad and the fan still does not work. This is the third fan and the second solar panel I have installed and none have lasted longer than 8 months and some less. This is a junk system and I can not believe Camping World is selling it. I am installing a 12 volt fan today that should solve the problem. For a $80.00 fan this solar setup is very disappointing.
