Forum Discussion
- joebedfordNomad IIWFR responded to my help ticket and said it was OK to update without updating the Bullet2. Part of the reason I wanted to go to the forum was because they had previously told me I should update it because of connection problems I was having. I thought this WFR update would be a good excuse to finally getting around to updating the Bullet. This time they told me not to update it.
I watched the FB video again. I now know what they meant when they said to update WiFi Ranger devices first - they don't think of the Bullet they sold me as a WFR device.
The 6.6.5 update ran fine but I'm not using it as I'm parked for a while. I prefer my Dlink router / AP.
Thanks to everyone who replied. - MedicoExplorer III posted a thread a couple of days ago about the WFR Firmware Update.
WFR are developing a more complete Knowledge Base along with a a User Guide online.
There is a good discussion here about the firmware update.

Oh, I was afraid that might be the answer.
Joe --- The WFR Forums are gone. They were taken off the site several weeks ago.
How are we supposed to get support now?
Have they gone out of business?
No, they are not out of business, quite the opposite.
The new support system is here. http://www.wifiranger.com/support/help-desk
The old forum is being harvested to provide a better knowledge base for owners.
The 6.6.5 update is working very well, with several hundred upgrades in the last few days. Your boost will wok fine with the new firmware. just note the IP address in the setup tab prior to upgrading your indoor unit, and after, be sure to set it to the same IP. The only outdoor devices that need updated are the WFRControl devices, like the Sky and Mobile. You should update those first, then update your indoor unit. They will then auto pair and you are good to go. - joebedfordNomad III raised a support ticket with them on their website. Now we'll see how long it takes to get a response.
- paulcardozaExplorerDon't know about support options. Seems that they have changed their business model significantly. My WFR has been in the closet for months. I was so frustrated with the number of problems I had, that I simply gave up.

I followed your link but I cannot find a link to the WifiRanger support forum. If you have the link, please post it here.
"WiFi Ranger Sky" Forum on irv2.com
I don't have a Sky - rvtenExplorer"WiFi Ranger Sky" Forum on irv2.com
- joebedfordNomad III'm looking for the forum not the company site. More specifically, they say I should update my external antenna (Bullet2) before updating to the new WifiRanger version. I've never done that before and I don't want to make a mistake that would 'brick' the device.
