winegard sensar pro

I got a winegard sensar pro went to hook it up today followed the directions but, I cant get it to work. Im not sure if I did something or if the unit is bad. Hooked up the 2 wires the hot and ground wires but the unit would turn on. Hooked the old unit back up to it and it works fine. Any suggestions?

No the wires arent switched around and yes I pushed the select button to turn it on but, it doesnt turn on.

you DID push a button (any button) on the sensar pro? for any of the led's to light up, you MUST push a button. it's still on, but in low power mode. the LED's don't stay on, they turn off after a few minutes.

12V DC wires not reversed are they?

If not reversed and you have 12V DC power then Sensor Pro should turn on.
