What I meant by the bathroom statement was exactly what you guys are saying. If I want to keep the Jeep (which I love), I need a tiny something, no bathroom... or come up with a different solution (tow the Jeep or get a different vehicle). And as far as me being nervous - bathroom means a bigger rig. No bathroom isn't really the experience I'm looking for. I'm VERY okay with tiny - I don't plan on owning much while I'm traveling. Heck, I don't plan on being in it except to eat & sleep... I want to follow the weather, I don't plan on wintering anywhere. Just wondered what other options might be.
Not willing to give up the dog, I realize his breed will limit my choices. Thanks for the heads up on private campgrounds. He isn't enormous. 60 lbs.
Checking out all the blogs & websites you've recommended - and everything else I can find online.
I do the tent & cot thing right now over the weekends, but I really want to be on the road for a couple of years to explore & eventually find a new place to settle in & restart life.
