A motorhome is treated as a second home. Like a second home, if you don't rent it out for any part of the year, there is no residency requirement to claim a tax deduction for the interest paid on the loan.
If you do rent it, then you must live in it for 14 days or more than 10% of the number of days it is rented out, for the motorhome to qualified as a second home.
