are all rv toilets macerator ??
Ok I assumed the toilets were just a dump into the black water tank,,,,now im reading there is a macerator....are they all like this ?? If so what activates the macerator ??

Are you talking about a macerator toilet or a stand alone portable macerator? I have the latter, a FloJet Waste Macerator Pump, always service my tanks here at the house, and never have to waste my time lining up at a campground dump station. :B
Apparently waste macerator toilets exist but in all the years we've been RVing I've never seen one in any garden variety TT, 5th, etc - they've all had a conventional Dometic or Thetford RV toilet that simply wastes into the holding tank below.
