There is the thing. If you don't dry camp there is not much point in having the battery bank that is best suited for dry camping.
What sends us to a CG with power is really hot or really cold weather. Equipped with a good sized battery bank, an inverter & a genny living off the grid is very easy. Cheap too. Having a good deep cycle battery bank opens up a whole new world of camping that the resort queens that need to be plugged in never get to experience. There are all kinds of events that are not held in traditional CGs but have camping for those equipped to go a few days without services.
Tenting is not for us. We do like being able to be off grid & live in fine comfort.
