It is not necessary to flush black tank every trip. Especially if you camp regularly. I try to flush my tanks each trip if possible, however if there is a line at the dump station or any host of reason that flushing isn't feasible. I just dump and go. I flush the next trip. Don't obsess over your black tank.
Do what you can to keep it clean, but you are just going to fill it with stuff the next trip out no matter what. If you skip a flush the sky will not fall.
