Makes sense. Kinda silly at this county campground because it isn't well water. All the plumbing has underground pipes from the same fresh city water supply.
It's like saying don't drink from your bathroom faucet because your toilet is in the same room.
I get it though. Who the heck knows what is actually on the hydrant and would be on a garden hose end at the dump station. More like drinking from the faucet in a airport bathroom. Water may be okay but the fixtures have to be just plain nasty.
