leaving Sunday Morning

we are here in door county all set up and relaxing wife just laid down for a nap One full week of nothing to do but sightsee and goof off

Penisula State Park is where my DD and SIL tried to freeze me to death and then walk me until I just laid down in the road and let them leave me. LOL. Actually being a South GA gal, I was not prepared for the cold damp wind in early May. It was entirely my fault for being cold. And the hiking was great, but again I was not prepared for the hills there. Where they live (south of Green Bay) and where I am live in South GA are both FLAT, so I was not expecting to climb hills and didn't take my meds for my arthritis in my knees. I am hoping to get back up there again and visit the park again when I am better prepared.

Just got back from there a few days ago. Spent a week at Peninusla State Park. One of our favorite things was the "Ghost Tour" offered in the evenings by one of the orchards close to Fish Creek.
