New to RVing, going to be full time travel nursing.

Hello,
My wife and I are in the process of purchasing a new travel trailer so that we can move our family into it and travel to different locations for 13 weeks at a time. It will be me doing volunteer work as I will be watching our 3 year old daughter when mom works, and a golden retriever, and two schipperkes. Obviously my wife is a RN, I am a United States Marine Veteran, I was a diesel mechanic while I served, when I got out I got alot of experience under my belt. I did factory production work, then went into security for harley davidson, moved onto coal plant work, then got into concrete work. For the last 10+ years I drove a cdl-b dump truck and trailer, was a volunteer firefighter and an emt-b. Last year I quit it all and started work at a cnc machine shop. So I have alot of knowlede and am very capable of doing many volunteer jobs at campgrounds.
Our biggest question or concerns are, Are there other travel nurses out there doing the same thing we want to do? If so where have you been? Anyone know where there are good rv parks near large hospitals? My wife currently works at Darthmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She wants to travel to bigger hospitals in the south for the winter. We were thinking NC, SC, FL, TX, AZ or someplace warm in the winter.
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated on any and all subjects of RVing, things us newbies would need for our new rv and wintering in it, finding rv parks near huge hospitals, how to volunteer at rv parks, as we have not picked a travel trailer yet recommendations on that as well. We have looked at highland ridge rvs, keystone, and some other one that felt like they used cheap materials.
Thank you all for your time and advice.

Barnhart family.
