Some times they would stamp the numbers in the engine area on the frame and other times they would rivet a plate with the info, they also painted or spayed the plate, if you see the rivets and it is covered you may need to remove the paint, be careful not to damage that info.
Other info might be on the firewall behind the engine area and also on the dash in front of the driver on the left corner you might find the VIN, (vehicle identification number).
The engine also has a serial number, but tha one might not be the original one since you can exchange an engine with a rebuilt one, the rebuilt engine should have the original number restamped, but some people do not do it.
The house part may also have a serial number that I do not know where they might have placed it.
