We leave everything except food in the trailer and camper for the winter, so it makes it easy to just add food and clothes and we are gone for a weekend.

This is the best thing you can do right here. but don't treat the home like it's right there on site - pretend it's not even there and "going home" is not an option. When you find you need something, note it but see how long you can go without it. It's the only way to find out those items you are missing are truly "must have" items. While you may want to, you really can't bring everything from the home you might want along with you.
