Ric, we tow a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk behind our 36 ft. gasser. It is an automatic transmission and rides way more comfortably then the Wrangler, which we previously towed.
The concept of boondocking is attractive, but in reality, tougher then you think in a 40 ft Dp.
You are doing great research and as you know with anything, but particularly RVing, and purchasing an RV, research/knowledge is your best tool.
