To answer your recent question OP: 360 will give you plenty of power in the mountains. You won't be going up them at top speed but you'll make it.
RE: not traveling interstates. . . as full-timers we didn't have any other home. We traveled the country constantly exploring every nook and cranny. Therefore we had no reason to rush with speed and use interstates to get from one state to another. Instead we used all the secondary two-lane roads to get to another place. You see more that way but it is slower. We had plenty of time. :)
