Picking Up Our New Keystone Passport Today

I'm actually sitting waiting for our orientation to start....thought I'd check in for any last minute questions we should ask, or any specific functions of the trailer we should make sure is reviewed thoroughly..

It's the 195RBWE model.

Thanks for any and all advice.
  • Well, we got it, drove home about 30 miles and parked it in covered storage facility. Any recommendations on if/when/where to store things like battery, 2 propane tanks, 2 weight distribution bars, stability bar, and the hitch mount/ball. Inside the RV? Bring them home? The pass through storage area (probably not as I understand other trailer owners have the same key.

Lots of grease on the ball and weight distribution bars to deal with.

Spent about an hour on a big parking lot trying to back 90 degrees into an imaginary parking spot....not a whole lot of success, but improvement made, but still a long way to go.

Going to try and find some sort of step by step/checklist of the order of things to do upon each of the following:

    Taking trailer out of storage
    Starting your journey
    Mid Journey inspection
Arrival at destination / starting your vacation
    Departure from destination
    mid trip home inspection
    dropping trailer/storing

Will poke around this site some more to see which of this info already exists.

@brianfowler, appreciate any guidance you can provide knowing you have the same trailer.

    Thanks to all!
  • We have the same trailer. In our second season and no issues so far. Have fun!
  • Make sure everything works, TV, CD player, stove, steps, lights, fans, slides, refrigerator, horn, all water faucets and connections, molding, trim, drawers, AC, heaters, etc before you take it off the lot.
