PLEASE HELP Furnace getting to hot
I have a 2002 Southwind and the furnace gets so hot that it starts to melt the matt that I have at the top of the steps. I will not run it again as I am sure that it will cause a fire. What controls the temp in the furnace. I know there is a over limit sensor, however I assumed that it is only used to if the furnace gets to hot or is the over limit sensor used to cycle the burner on/off to control heat?
