Start refrigerator on propane

If you had it on propane while going down the road and battery was draining, then you might have an issue with the house battery not charging correctly. The battery is need to run the circuit board for the fridge, but it should not drain the battery while driving, especially that quickly.

....also fridge fan activation (if requires manual activation like in our Dometic 3 way) and regulations/potential hazard with active propane component use in tunnels and gas stations.

X2! otherwise the fridge will go into a "check" mode and shut down.

Going from memory.....
With the switch to "Auto" and no AC 115V power, there should be an amber and green light on the fridge. If the gas didn't light then both lights will flash. The control board runs off of the 12V battery and will drain it down but you should get at least 2 days out of it.
There's no door heater switch on my Norcold 611, it's hard wired "on". Bummer - my old Dometic had a heater switch.

If you stand outside your TT where the fridge hatch is you should be able to hear it run on propane. Mine sounds like when the water heater is running on propane only not as loud.

just a little heads up on Dometric thay have a door htr which is 12 v if u have same usually little switch on door jam turn it off a battery sucker

I think you are on to something. The auto setting is mentioned in the book, just not by displayed LED with word. I think the light will be yellow?
