I don't like the auto setting. I'm paranoid that I will leave it off-level sometime and forget that I left the fridge on.
For the life of me, I don't know how this happened, but I took it in for some service, got it back a few days later, parked it, never got around to leveling it or plugging it in, and the fridge was running on propane and was cold when I went to look at it a few days later. Luckily it was pretty level. I have no idea when it got set to auto, because I never use that setting, and how level it was at the repair place. Running for a week and didn't know it. I would think that the repairman would notice it. Maybe they were living in my trailer while they had it :)
