Storing spices

I just purchased a new to us TT and will be using it as a weekender and a couple long trips a year. My goal is to keep it loaded with clothes and non-perishables. We plan on putting the spices in ziplock bags with silica pouches to keep the moisture out. Will that work? We are wanting to eliminate clumped spices and bugs.
  • We keep our rig pretty much stocked and ready to go as well, even stays plugged in year round. We don't bag our spices all that much, just keep the lids tightly closed. We do bag Sweet n Low, Splenda, and sugar packets as a convenience.

Clumping is not much of an issue as we predominately camp in the four corner states where humidity is nearly non-existent. We've been lucky and have had no issues with insects, ants, or mice with our current rig over the last 8 years.
  • Mine stay in the containers they were purchased in. Perhaps I'm not visiting places with high humidity.
