- psuceExplorerI agree with the fuel pressure regulator theory, it looks similar to a Holley brand. There should be an inlet line in the back side and the hose you see would be the outlet side. See pic below. Do you have a gas or diesel engine?
- GoostoffExplorerWas this area clean before? What that looks like to me is white lithium grease in a spray can that has dried up a bit and contaminated with dust. I use the stuff on my slide rails all the time rather than graphite.

Can you get a determination as to the color. Wipe with a white towel or rag. Most hydraulic levelers use transmission fluid (red). Antifreeze - green, yellowish, pinkish. What does it smell like?
Good idea. Will do that tomorrow while we're under there trying to figure out what's wrong with the generator ?? - kimberlysmooreExplorer

Try to follow the leaking hose to find out what is at the other end.
Does it leak when the jacks are being extended only, retracted only, or both?
I am thinking it could be the vent from the fluid reservoir and it is slightly over filled and leaks a little when the jacks are retracted.
Not leaking any more. Moving onto next issue unless this becomes a problem ag a in. Thanks for all the help. - kimberlysmooreExplorer

Is there a leaky battery in the area? That looks like electrical corrosion.
Kinda looks that way but no battery near by, at least I don't think so. This is rear right, above leveler, near rear tire..kind of. Only 3 batteries that I know of..all in the front. 1 starter, 2 house.
BTW: No more leaking recently. - kimberlysmooreExplorer

You need to try to find the other end of the hose to find out what it is hooked to.
Your talking about picture 1 and 2 right?
Do you notice..it looks like it has a crack running through it.
If this is a fuel pressure regulator (which I think it is), issues with it would be more noticeable during heavy hill climbing yes?
Then it leaked onto my leveler and I thought the level was the problem.
Still working on it. Hard to find a place in the city to camp down and climb under there without the people of LA looking at you funny. Besides its so HOT here! Last time we take a job here at this time of year!
Doing an install job for at least a few more days, maybe a week, then we can head North and find some smaller towns to settle in for a week or two. - et2ExplorerCan you get a determination as to the color. A wire won't leak fluid. Rub your fingertips on the fluid or damp area. Rub your fingertips together. Is it oil or water? My guess is that you have a leaking hose or fitting in your hydraulic system adjacent to that mechanism.
the wire is not leaking fluid. thats a slightly different issue that i found looking for the leak. the second picture shows the hole where the spray came out with fluid like oil. the hose coming out the right side is not connected to the leveler. it turns out its probably not related to the leveler.
ive checked all fluids, all levels are good.
