A 26' C will get into many sightseeing type places. But there will also be many where you can't get in, or the few spaces large enough are already taken and you may have to wait for a long time, possibly blocking other traffic. Many picturesque pull offs have small parking areas with few, if any, RV type spaces. And even when they do, those are often taken by inconsiderate drivers in cars/trucks. And general shopping could also be a challenge.
Another downside of no tow vehicle, if you are at an RV park or campground for several days and you want to sight see while there, you will have to unhook from water/elec/sewer and then hook back up and re-level every time you leave and return.
I would at least opt for some very small tow vehicle.
