Try a short trip or two without it. You can always add one later.
It depends on your goals for using your new RV. If you want to park it frequently for a week or longer and vacation somewhere, you may need a car. Many folks use the RV as a second home and bring along a lot of fun things to set up - outdoor kitchens, various sporting gear, rugs, furniture, lights, and decorative items. So it takes a while to set up and then pack it back up - but that's fine, because they aren't on the move.
We mostly have used our RV for sightseeing on long trips involving dozens of campgrounds, usually staying a few nights at most in one place.
We had a 22' class B RV for five years so got in the habit of traveling light and using it as our sole transportation. So we do a fairly minimal set-up, keep things stowed in their places, and therefore can make a speedier departure. It's not a major deal to go somewhere and return to the campsite.
Now we're in 25.5' Class C without a towed car and it's working out fine. We go into small villages, scenic pull-offs, National Parks, etc., and don't block traffic.
