So...you visited Rocky Mountain with your car. Think about parking your RV in Estes Park or in one of the park's campgrounds. How would you see the rest of the park? Would you just stay in the campgrounds or would you want to unhook your motorhome from the connections and drive it around to sitesee?
Personally, I don't see how anyone really tours an area with having their car to do so. There are so many gravel roads to drive that has awesome things to see. Would you take your RV?
Yes, if you have a very small RV - Class B, etc. you could do so.
Some folks say they rent a car. There are many, many places we've gone where that would have been impossible. I recall reading a previous post that stated they chose their stays based on the ability to rent a car. They soon discovered that they were going to tow their own car in the future.
Towing is definitely not difficult to do.
