For the winter months and maybe year round, I'd look at moving in someplace as a room mate, just renting a bedroom. If not that, with an RV, again for the winter months, winterize it and find someplace else to take your showers. Can you buy a TC, leave it on the truck parked at where you work and use the bathrooms inside during the winter? RV parks in that area may not keep their water and sewer operational during the winter anyway - too few campers to make the hassles and cost worthwhile.
You're doing this so that you cut down on your drive time and thereby have more sleep time. If you're always fighting frozen pipes you're going to loose a lot of sleep time and it will get expensive fixing the damage.
Not only will you have the cold to fight during the winter, but my perception of that part of the country is a lot of wind during the winter. Wind will quickly suck any warmth right out from under the RV - I'm assuming you plan on building a skirt around the bottom, insulating it and putting a heat source down there??? You'll have to visqueen over and tape the windows too.
While there will be just you in it, I expect you'll still have a lot of moisture to deal with - without showers. You should buy a small DE-humidifier and have it drain into a bucket that you can dump outside. Moisture in the cabinets or on the ceiling all of the time will lead to mold. Monitor inside of the closets and cupboards for moisture.
An electric matrass pad would also be good. Even though you will probably have electricity and electric heat, I'd get a larger stand alone propane tank delivered and plumbed in.
It's all doable, but you need to get it figured out - winter is on the way. The Fireweed has just about bloomed to the top.
