Hi Ron,
Thanks for the info related to the change in front end height adjustment above.
From now on, if I post in this forum, I will try to keep my posts more technically correct. I did say in one of my other posts that I was not aware this was such a technically based forum (although I'm sure these were not the exact words I used :).
In my job, I have to be non technical because the general public needs to understand what I am saying. In my mind, because people cannot actually see weight transfer, I was using the effect of weight transfer on truck springs as an analogy because squat or front end rise is something that people can see. When Barney corrected my post due to my inference, I did thank him for mentioning that in a followup post and explained that I was trying to simplify a response. But then when the other post bashing started, I felt a need to defend my screen name and tried to keep my analogy in tact by using Barneys inference of spring removal as a way to show that it would be difficult to adjust a WDH but then all of a sudden, I got hit again because I did not explain the reason for my new argument. Well it spiraled downward further at my expense and I can only blame myself for that.
What I don't get is that adjustment of a WDH according to directions from the manufacturer are generally explained through spring deflection, whether loading or unloading, but this forum will not let you get away with explaining how a WDH works by using spring deflection as a reference.
Anyway, Maybe if I stated my analogy first, I would have been more understood. Maybe if I was on the forum more often, I would have realized that information is presented in a more technical fashion and I would not have posted the way I did.
