I've noticed that just about everywhere these days. At the risk of sounding like an old fart, it used to be journalists set the standard for proper grammar, spelling and quality of writing. Now it's a race to get the story out first no matter how sloppy the writing.

I look forward to overnighting in a Walmart parking lot. The reason being, it'll mean I'm on a long RVing excursion. I'll quit overnighting at Walmarts when Walmart quits allowing me to do it. And, I'll respect their method of management.
After all, there's other places where I can overnight.

WalMart is about one thing: Sales. (Not saying it is bad)

When the parking lot problems start hurting sales, WalMart will take action.

Sounds uncaring, but that is the truth of the matter.

WalMart operates, not counting Sam's Club, 4177 stores in the US.

2014 shootings have included:
92 shootings, 16 dead, 42 injured

A fairly small percentage overall.

IMO the man was at "the end of his rope",.....desperate situation is what it looks like to me. I've become more and more aware of tragic endings. Sad

We do the I-5 corridor 2 or 3 times a year. Most Walmarts along I-5 are not worth stopping at, even if you'r just passing thru looking for a place to catch little sleep. There's lot of other places that are really good.

The first sentence of the article said the man was shot and KILLED. I don't think he will be getting out anytime soon.

It seems that the news is more about sensationalism rather than reporting the facts.

The odds of a wanted felon being much closer than you think are very high.

Th8s man was wanted on warrants.. I am guessing they are felony warrants since he shot it out with the cops. And yes, you can find people like that in campgrounds as well as Wal*marts.. I worry more about the husband/wife or boy/girl-friend couple who are getting drunk and having nightly knock down drag outs.

I am in a campground with 24 sites,,one site is occupied by a vacant RV (We are trying to move it but need a new battery or 3 Got the slides in yesterday (Working with CG owner on that job) I think we have 3 open sites just now and ONE of our long terms... The boy/girl firend knock downers described above.
