A valid point BUT your camper does have 12 vdc throughout which can easily be accessed from any one of the many 12 volt lighting fixtures. In my case I already have 12 vdc available right where I park the Endless Breeze so I always run it directly even when we have shore power available. In order to avoid the noise that many of us have observed the Endless Breeze makes I can instead run a 120 vac $10 WallyWorld fan that's dead quiet using a 12 vdc > 120 vac inverter plugged into that same 12 vdc feed. The only catch being most of these 120 vac fans will squeal when fed with modified sine wave, ergo the reason I'm keeping an eye out for an inexpensive, used pure sine wave inverter. As has been said, to his / her own. :)
