Assist Handle Modifications to Prevent Lock-in
Reading a story of a couple that were locked in the rv due to someone moving assist handle across the door. What if any mods have you done to prevent being locked in you rv? Thanks Ed

Get a hard piece of plastic and cut it to fit the opening. Then screw it into the cavity so it will just swing out.
Or, just grind down the "bump" that the handle has to go up and over to move it. Then you will be able to push it open with the door.
I never thought of this before. I'm glad you brought it up.
As long as there is a little something left somthe handle doesn't flop back and forth!
