- Two_HandsExplorerWe always use the shower in our coach. Good friends who we sometimes camp with only use the campground showers.

When we got our first TT we were still using the campground showers. Then came the day my wife came fuming back from the campground shower house and said she was NEVER going to use a campground shower again. We had a shower in the camper and she was using it. And we've been using it ever since. If we do not have full hook-up, I use my blue tote to haul the black and grey water to the dump station. But we've never used the campground facilities again!
What happened with my wife? I've shared this before.
She was in the ladies shower. Only privacy was a curtain. In came a mother with her son (probably somewhere around 7ish, but way to old to be in the woman's shower room.)
Well, that wasn't so bad, after all, there were shower curtains ... Until the boy started flinging back the shower curtains while the ladies were taking showers and then stood there just laughing at them, while the women tried to turn and hide themselves.
My wife yelled at the mother some choice words, got dress and stormed out! That was THE last time we both, ever used the campground facilities for anything!
Hey, c'mon.... I was only 6 at the time! Gimme a break! :B - toedtoesExplorer IIII dry camp for the most part, so I use the lake or river. :)
- LwiddisExplorer III always use all my TT's facilities.
- azrvingExplorerWouldn't set one toe or flip flop in any of them. RV shower all the way or I'd have an outdoor shower tent set up or not go.
- Artum_SnowbirdExplorerUsually in our first walk-a-bout we check them out. Some are spotless as they should be, others need attention. Worst she ever had was when it filled with water. Camp lady swore at us when we complained, the walls were just fine, but I bet the her husband that supposedly cleaned it never stood inside to see if it drained.
I do hate the ones that you have to keep pressing a knob for another few seconds, should be a minimum of a half minute. Loved the ones that have a readable timer on the cutoff so you don't go for a soap then plunk, off it goes. - samsontdogExplorerWe have been RVing since the early 60s and only used the shower in the RV maybe 5 or 6 times max. We are Thousand Trails Members for over 34 yrs and they clean the bath rooms several times a day. The cats litter box is in the shower so its two much trouble to take it out. I like that most of you use your RV Shower as I dont
have to wait on you to get out - ScottGNomadI like the shower in our RV. It's a corner type and very roomy.
In the time it would take just to walk to the showers, I'm done. - OasisbobExplorerI shower in my trailer. Last time I tried CG shower found out it took coins. Scrounged some and found out it was not working. .

My biggest pain is campgrounds that charge for showers - a quarter usually get you one arm or leg
