Battery disconnect switches

I see that there are two types of battery disconnect switches a knife blade type and a knob style. Would appreciate your comments about your experience with either one.

I tow a 2015 Ford Focus four down. The last step to prepare the car to tow is to disconnect the negative cable from the battery. I mounted a knob style switch under the hood for the disconnect.

I used a knob style switch that came with my Cool Tech wire harness but discovered that it would corrode and fail to make a good connection with the battery. Replaced it with a sealed switch that I got at AutoZone and haven't had problems since.
I used the knob style from HF and had the same problem. After cleaning the corrosion twice because my engine had no power to start I realized that the knob was unscrewing slightly due to road vibrations and was arcing and contributing to the corrosive buildup.
