best hitch for Lance TT

Question

Does any one know of issues putting a Pro Pride hitch on a Lance 2295? All the Lance dealers we have talked to are recommending the Equalizer E2 hitch. I have seen some comments about the frame Lance uses, and just wondering if certain hitches will work better.

Since you ask for the best, there is none better than the ProPride/Hensley Arrow. Neither will put any more strain on the trailer frame than other hitches.

The E2 is likely what the dealer carries and makes the most profit on.

The E2 is a cheaper version of the original Equalizer hitch.  They sell the E2 for the same price as the real Equalizer and tell the customer it's an Equalizer.  A real Equalizer can be had for about $460 online with free shipping.  Blue Ox Pro is another good one as is the Reese Straight Line (dual cam).  Any of those will serve you well.

The E2 is 2-point sway control btw and the Equalizer is 4-point.

If you go the Lance owners forums, you will see that many like the Andersen WDH .
