Exactly, For the most part your black tank will never fill up,assuming you are a transient camper and not permanently set up. My 40 gallon black will go at least 10 days with 4 people.
I have a 42 gallon barker that allows me to dump my 40 gallon gray in one trip. Works great!
THe newer barker totes now come with upgraded pneumatic rubber wheels vs. the hard plastic wheels.
Many fear the weight of 42 gallons of water,however you never need to lift the full tote. It has a handle that allows you to pull it around like a old fashioned red wagon. I use the handle to pull tote over to my truck and then tow the tote to the dump station.
Yes it is more trouble/work than full hook ups. But a tote opens up a whole other world of non full hook up sites. Including state parks, lake front sites and marinas.
