I have never had a tire blow on a trailer .
Because it has been easy to upgrade trailer tires I have avoided that problem .
But I did have a diesel pusher motorhome blow the INSIDE left rear tire near Edwards AFB in the desert .
When that tire blew it also disabled the air bag suspension .
The whole coach lowered to the ground and I was able to pull off safely .
I had recently purchased the DP used and the front and outside rear tires were new .
It turns out that the inside rear tires had not been replaced when the outers were .
I never bothered to climb underneath and examine the inner rear tires .
Lesson learned , the hard way .
