I know everyone here will appreciate this.This morning as I had my coffee and read the RV.Net, my wife came out of the bedroom as said:"Are your ready for your breakfast?"Without looking up, I said:"Anytime you are ready."Her response:"I was talking to the dog."Now I know that after 40 years of marriage, my wife loves me, but I guess I better look and see to whom she is speaking before responding!! LOL

More importantly, what did the dog say?

Well that sure is a 'dog's breakfast'.

You're lucky...

In my house, I get up and make my own breakfast. Then, when the wife gets up she asks..."Whatsa matter with you?..Didn't ya feed the dog yet? And what about the cat...A-hole?

I call her my first wife. Been married for 40 years. But it keeps her on her toes. And a gentle reminder there may someday be a 2nd wife. But she knows there won't be. Just not 100% sure tho'.

We are at 25 years married....no more kids at home...I usually assume she is talking to the dog...especially if the tone of voice is affectionate.
