Not only does it do as well, it does better as it has more volume which mixes more air making it run cooler.

Installed as shown in your post, it doesn't get the fumes up high enough where the prevailing breeze can carry them away, nor will it carry the exhaust noise high enough to be effective for noise reduction. Heat rises, and that loop down on the ground is limiting the flow rate of the air. It could be effective, if the hose was run vertically up the side of the coach to a point a bit above the roof without the downward loop.
